Company description

HyET (founded 2008) is a high-tech SME. HyETs mission is to develop, produce and sell equipment and systems for electrochemical compression and decompression for stationary and mobile applications. HyET is led by Dr. Ir. Rombout Swanborn, a successful entrepreneur who has founded three >€10M turnover high-tech companies in the energy sector.

Main tasks in the project

HyETs main task in the project is the design and development of the electrochemical compressor and its BoP. The aim is to design a compressor capable of compressing hydrogen to a level of 450 bar at a daily average capacity of 60 kg. The compressor will have an energy consumption as low as 4 kWhr/kg.
